Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules and standards that apply when you access or use any website, hosted application, SaaS product, form, digital tool, customer portal or online service operated by Hivell Digital Ltd. It applies alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and any other relevant terms that govern your use of our services.
2. Lawful Use
Customers must only use our services for lawful purposes. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards in the United Kingdom and in any jurisdiction from which you access or use our services. You must not use our services in any way that could expose Hivell Digital Ltd, its customers, users or third parties to legal, regulatory or reputational harm.
3. Prohibited Activities
When using any Hivell Digital Ltd service, you must not:
- Engage in any illegal activity, or encourage or assist others to do so.
- Commit fraud, misrepresentation or any deceptive practice.
- Send, distribute or facilitate spam, unsolicited bulk communications or phishing messages.
- Upload, transmit, distribute or execute malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware or any other harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks, accounts, data or any connected infrastructure.
- Bypass, disable or interfere with security controls, authentication measures or usage limits.
- Abuse, overload, disrupt or degrade our hosted services, platforms or infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests or resource exploitation.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defame or discriminate against any person or group, or publish content that is hateful, violent, obscene or otherwise harmful.
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any third party.
- Use our services for any prohibited or restricted activity, including the sale, promotion or distribution of illegal, counterfeit or sanctioned goods or services.
4. Content and Data
Users are responsible for any content, data or materials they upload, submit, store, publish or transmit through our services. You must not upload, store or share content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, confidential without authority, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable. You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and share any content you submit through our services.
5. Hosted Services
Users of our application hosting, SaaS products, customer portals or other hosted services must not:
- Overload, attack, disrupt or misuse hosted applications or infrastructure.
- Run unauthorised mining, scraping, crawling or other resource-intensive processes without our written agreement.
- Use hosted services to store, process or distribute data in breach of this policy or applicable law.
- Share account credentials, allow unauthorised access, or attempt to exceed permitted usage limits.
We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns and take action where hosted services are being used in a way that affects performance, security or compliance.
6. E-commerce and Product Use
Users must not use Hivell Digital Ltd services, including any e-commerce platform, online store, product listing, payment flow or marketplace integration, to sell, promote, facilitate or distribute prohibited, illegal or restricted products or services. This includes, but is not limited to, counterfeit goods, stolen items, unlicensed regulated products, age-restricted products sold in breach of applicable rules, and any goods or services that are unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction.
7. Suspension or Termination
Hivell Digital Ltd may suspend, restrict or terminate access to any service, account or hosted content where we reasonably believe that this policy, our Terms of Service or applicable law has been breached, or where continued access creates a risk to our systems, customers, users or third parties. We may take such action without prior notice in serious cases, including where illegal activity, security threats or harm to others is involved.
Where reasonably practicable, we will attempt to notify the affected user of the action taken and the reasons for it. Suspension or termination does not limit any other rights or remedies available to Hivell Digital Ltd under the relevant terms or applicable law.
8. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any abuse of our services, suspected breaches of this policy, security incidents or other policy concerns, please report them to us at support@hivelldigital.com with as much detail as possible, including relevant URLs, account information, dates and a description of the concern.
